She has served as the judge on Britain's Got Talent since 2007. On weekday mornings she hosts Heart Breakfast radio with Jamie Theakston. Holden was raised in Portsmouth, Hampshire. She spent much of her youth in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine years old, she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared on TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington", starring Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. He co-starred with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Holden is an judge on Britain's Got Talent along with Simon Cowell, David Walliams, and Alesha Dixon. In 2006, she was a judge on the show.
