Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress well-known for her performances in the movies 'Beta' Saajan' and 'Hum Hain Koun . Her career in the industry began in the 1980s. She gained popularity through her part as a supporting actress in the film Tezaab. Then, she appeared in the film 'Dil' in which she appeared with Aamir Khan. She was born in a Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing from a young age. She tried her hand at acting as young however, it wasn't an easy task. Most of her first films failed. She was successful, and she went on to be a leading actress in the Indian film industry. After her marriage, she took some time off from acting before returning to the entertainment sector. She was also a key character in the film 'Gulaab Gang,' that focused on the struggle of women in India. Dixit has been nominated to win 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she received eight. She was also presented with the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian honor. She is known for her work with the social sector as well.
