Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her roles as the main character in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. In addition to her film roles that she's appeared on, including "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack is from a non-related family. Her parents are psychotherapist in a clinical setting and also the proprietor of a local ice cream establishment. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in 1990, she went to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. Her graduation was in the BA program in comparative arts. The actress began her professional career at 12 years old when she appeared in the stage production 'Amahl & The Night Visitors an operetta for Christmas. She continued to play in the theatre, and eventually landed parts on the large and small screens. Her versatility is recognized in the present. Michael Morris (producer/director) is McCormack's husband. They have three daughters.
